Description

The Extech EX800 series are digital clamp-on meters which will measure up to 1000 AC Amps and feature a built-in InfraRed Thermometer for non-contact measurements . The EX800 series will also measure AC or DC Voltage, Resistance, Frequency, Capacitance, Diode and Continuity.The EX800 series also come with many of the standard Extech features which makes these meters suitable for a wide range of applications. These features include things such as Data Hold and Peak Hold, Min/Max readings, Autoranging with manual range button and Auto Power Off. The EX800 series also features a 1.7" (43 mm) jaw opening to fit conductors up to 750MCM and is built with a double-molded housing for increased protection.Unique to the EX820 is the ability to also take type-K temperature measurements and will measure from -4-1400 °F or -20-760 °C.
